that about 87 % of respondents always or often purchase sustainable products and 97 % are
interested in spending money on items that will have a positive impact on local businesses and
communities highest amongst all the other surveyed countries.
Choices of Indian customers are becoming more about contributing to local business and creating a

they make personal investments.
In per recent survey conducted by Mahindra where they surveyed 2000 people between 25-50 years
of age in five major Indian cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bangalore. The main motive of this survey is to find out how the public perceives climate change, sustainable alternatives, and the role business play in climate action.
The result of this survey is a turnout that people were well aware of the problem and were willing to
